Lucille Adams Scholarship
The Department of African-American Studies (AAS) is honored to call for applications for the Lucille Adams Scholarship. The Adams Scholarship is awarded to an AAS major who is a rising senior with over a minimum 3.0 overall grade point average (g.p.a.) and minimum 3.5 g.p.a. in AAS coursework within the major. Student must have unmet financial need and a recommendation from a AAS core or affiliate faculty member. Service to the community, campus, and particularly the Department of African-American Studies will be taken into consideration in awarding the scholarship. Please staple a copy of your graduation audit to the application.
Due date for the application is Wednesday, February 15, 2017. Please download and complete the attached application and turn in to AAS office at: 1 Park Place, Suite 962, Atlanta, GA 30303 or submit by mail to: Department of African-American Studies, P.O. Box 4109, Atlanta, GA 30302-4109 (postmarked by Wednesday, February 15, 2017).
